No elevator pitch required, join me for lean coffee?

I'm hosting two new events in May that I think are going to be a lot of fun, and you should come to them if you can.

The first one is on Zoom, and this is for nature lovers looking for a coffee break. It's a great event especially if you are:

  • an introvert who likes to nerd out on nature topics
  • you hate reciting elevator pitches in networking events
  • and you love hearing a good story or sharing one yourself

We won't be talking about work, about tech, and we definitely won't be reciting elevator pitches with one another. Personally, I find all of those topics really boring and repetitive, and they don't do what they're supposed to do, which is to help you to connect with someone you didn't know before. When I've run this particular workshop before, you can see how everyone lights up by learning a super simple method called "Storycatching."

What is storycatching, you ask? If you want to find out, RSVP below and don't miss out on the fun.

Got Zoom fatigue? Are you in SF Bay Area? I have something for you too.

For those who would prefer an in-person event and a mini-adventure, I am collaborating with the SF Bay Area Nature Journal Club.

This event is being held in a secret location in Half Moon Bay.

You will learn of the location once you sign up, and open spots are limited. This isn't some marketing ploy to make you sign up faster. It's because for us to have a really fun and meaningful time, we have to limit the number of people attending.

This event is for you if:

  • you are curious about what nature journaling is (you can ask me in person!)
  • you enjoy sketching, writing or watercolor
  • you had a really busy week, and you're looking for a way to decompress

As long as you have layers, a bottle of water, lunch, and writing or drawing tools, you'll have a great time!

This is completely optional, but if you want to contribute to a good cause, a donation is suggested. As I like to say, nature is the best medicine. Join us for nature journaling and community. I would love to see you there.
