Happy Holidays and looking ahead to 2026

Happy Holidays and looking ahead to 2026

Dear friends,

In light of the fact that today is the close of business for 2025, I have decided to defer the December issue for the return in January.

As I've been experimenting with this business, I am learning a lot about the cost-benefit of creating certain offerings. This means much of my time this December has been spent in a season of collecting ideas and prioritizing.

Rather than shipping too soon or trying to push harder to deliver, I'm choosing instead to make space for creativity. Because I talk a lot about creating ease, mindfulness and self-care, it's important to me that I role model what that looks like.

This is something that I talk a lot about here, about the importance of giving ourselves space, and being okay with moments where we have to adapt or pivot. As part of this, to be really honest, I've been into making watercolor holiday cards, and wow, it feels good!

At the same time, I wanted to write this, because you have shown me so much grace and support in this year, and I am grateful. Thank you for being a subscriber.

What this means for upcoming issues:

  • There's a likelihood that I will be changing the cadence of the newsletter in the future. Shorter posts, a mix of stories, tutorials, updates. Experimentation is needed!
  • I am also hosting an in-person event in the San Francisco Bay Area on January 2nd. This particular event is a fitting one to go out to the SF Baylands and observe the King Tide. As the high tides bring in nutrients from the ocean and replenish the wetlands, we get a chance to also feel the energy too. My hope is we will start off 2026 with a meaningful reset in the year.
    • You can express interest via Lu.ma here.
    • If you're not in the Bay Area, but you're near the coast, I'll be sharing more ad hoc about how you can also participate.

There's a lot more in store. In the mean time, let's take a collective breath in...and out...and I want to wish you all a restful and blessed season. ❄️

Warmly,

Clara
