What is Love Notes to Nature?
Love Notes to Nature is an artistic newsletter about the local environment in the San Francisco Bay Area. From time to time, I also share my travel sketches in other parts of the world.
Within a sketchbook page, I'm exploring moments of joy and love for the world around us.
If you're looking for a relief from constant screens, self-care to be able to lead at work, or you simply enjoy seeing other people's art, you will find something here.
What kinds of drawings do you share?
Currently in my sketchbook, I'm exploring topics around urban gardening, the flow of water, pollinators and California native plants.

The content will vary, but you can expect:
- Nature observations from my sketchbook: I have a practice of drawing daily in my sketchbook.
- Monthly journaling prompts: Gentle prompts and ideas to help you in developing your own creative practice. You can use the prompts (or not!) - it's up to you!
- Nature stories about California: In many ways, because I live in California, this is a newsletter about a sense of place. California's landscape is varied with tall mountains to low valleys and the wide ocean, so consider this your invitation to a soothing escape.
- Other types of content: we're just getting started, and if you are a subscribe, I would love to hear from you about what you enjoyed.
